Its getting into the seat thats the problem.

You know how bad it is? I went to stretch a little and that alone was enough to send enough pain to make me go to me knees.

Thats when the vicodin was whipped out.

Time to buy a Grand Caravan.

No really, regardless of other qualities, they're actually the shizz when it comes to back issues in some respects.

I love my moms crossover for this alone.

The seats are supple with no bolsters meaning I can just slide in without having to contort myself. A blessing. Dads truck is even better.

Fuck low cars, I'm getting a Raptor.

hmm, very true. In the months immediately following my surgery I was frequently seen doing an indelicate commando roll out of my car. But once in all was golden.

If I park next to a snowbank I actually have no problem commando rolling out of my car. Like I give a shit. I'm only wearing sweat pants and a hoody and my dignity in my own driveway is of little concern.

I've got a temperamental back, and when it acts up, our Odyssey is a godsend. I can actually drive it. And forget about using a clutch.

Yep, been there, doing that. Here's my prior review on this topic of back pain.

My g-grandma had a late 70's Eldorado. Best seats ever, except so soft they didn't provide any support, and so low you'd fuck your back getting into or out of them.

I think she gave up on driving it shortly before she turned 90, but she didn't have the pre-existing back issues my (GC-driving) grandma does, now almost 90. GC seems to do okay by my grandma, but it's not my first choice of a vehicle for anything else. Odd that the GC seats are as good as they are for cheap, actually - the seats in the Challenger suck ass unless you're at top trim level, and Sebring seats have always been a swamp. Dodge truck seats are okay, maybe that's the root of things.

My C3 Vette actually causes back problems, that's how bad they are.
